Sin Chai Ecolodge

This part of Sa Pa combines an out-of-centre setting with access to the railway and cable-car facilities. The resort's outlook takes in mountains, valleys and rice paddies.

Sa Pa Bus Station is 2.3 km away. Sleeper buses from Hanoi reach Sa Pa in around 5 to 6 hours; the overnight train runs to Lao Cai, 35 km from town, followed by roughly an hour up the mountain road by bus or taxi. From the bus station, a taxi or motorbike taxi can cover the final leg to Phường Phan Si Păng. The resort has shuttle and airport-shuttle services, as well as free private parking on site.

Cat Cat Bridge is 950 m from the resort and Cat Cat Village is 1.4 km away; Tiên Sa waterfall is 1.5 km away, while Sa Pa Lake is 2.5 km away. Cat Cat is a Hmong village below Sa Pa, with village paths and waterfall scenery. Ham Rong Mountain garden rises above the town, and the Fansipan cable car gives access to the high summit area. Around the Mường Hoa valley, rice terraces are green from June to August and turn golden at harvest in September and early October. December to February is cold and often foggy in Sa Pa.
